Beginning the countdown of #TobaccoBusinessMagazine top 10 candidates for cigar of the year is the Macanudo Insprido White. It is made of 6 year aged Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, a binder Indonesian and Nicaragua fuller from Mexican San Andrés.
Initial Light and First 3rd
It starts off with a creamy aroma and upon lighting a nice mellow woodiness. There’s a subtle vanilla under the more pronounced woody flavor, some may say grassy note. The creamy notes fall into the background going into the second 3rd.
Second 3rd
Flavors calm down and smooths out to a mellowness you expect from a Macanudo. A spice is introduced as you smoke through the middle of the cigar.

Last 3rd
The spice/peppers come through even more. Vanilla notes are little to none now but you may still pick it up. As the cigar began mild, it is all medium now….but still very smooth. It finishes with a light grassy flavor.
Summary
The #MacanudoInspridowhite is a mild to middle cigar that has a smoothness that you would expect from a more mild/medium cigar. No dynamic transitions, and that’s a good thing here. A good stick that fits any occasion.
