If you’re someone that doesn’t try new things than this isn’t for you. The name probably isn’t familiar to you and the blender isn’t an old man that’s been in the industry for 60 years. @lampertcigars is new to the U.S. market but they reached out to the industry’s ‘wonder woman’ @indianaortez to make this unique blend. The cigar is made of Peruvian ligero and Nicaraguan filler, a Nicaraguan binder, and an Ecuadorian outer wrapper. The #1675 has been one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
Initial Light and first 3rd
Initially, I felt that the cigar was not a fitting profile for me because it started off heavy with a mineral and copper taste. Once I got passed a solid inch into it and the cigar had a chance to warm up, a pleasant profile of cream, dry graham cracker and earthy nutmeg was picked up. It has subtle sweetness that makes the cigar easy to get in to. The aroma is of herbs and pepper thats noticeable on the retro. Glad that the flavors cleaned up a bit from where it initially started.

Second 3rd
It was hard to determine how the burn was and to keep lit due to the high winds from smoking outside. This probably won’t be an issue indoors, but it seems to burn slow and go out. At the halfway point, the notes change with an introduction of cinnamon and quite a bit of cedar and orange peel. I’m switching between Belgian triple ale beer and @CopperKing brandy so it’s pulling out different notes. The brandy helps bring out more sweetness and that combats the growing cedar notes. However, the cigar pairs better with the Belgian Triple.

Final 3rd
This cigar deepens after every 3rd. There are various notes but the flavor overall is subtle or better said muted in distinction; that could be because they blend together nearing the end. For the rest of the cigar, I stayed with the Triple beer. The notes of damp cedar, citrus, sweetness and light spice needs something just as complex. All I would change would be smoking indoors. I’ll smoke it again. With that said, this is a cigar smoker’s cigar.
